INCLUSIONS
COVERAGE
Family sessions are the time where we get to know each other, I get to see how you interact together, and you become comfortable in front of my camera. We get to shoot in any location you choose (A park or a Beach) and you can wear what you are comfortable in. It’s just you guys and me, unfolding the love for one another.Yes, Moms, you're organizing, you're planning, you're making it happen, every day. You deserve to look amazing in these photos. Don't forget about You. If you have great legs, don't hesitate to show them off a little. It's ok to be a hot mama. If you have an area of insecurity, think about how you can minimize that with your outfit choice. Scarves, pashminas, jackets are awesome accessories that can totally help highlight the best version of you. If you have insecurities that you want to share with me - please do. BUT, you're not allowed to do it during your session. Let's get that out of the way beforehand, so it doesn't bring us down on session day. :)
Bring the fun, Dads: There is nothing more attractive than an amazing father/husband. I know that your wife probably had to talk you into photos. And, I want you to know, I'm thrilled that you're participating. And, if you're at all affectionate with your loved ones, you've probably already melted my photographer heart. Today isn't about smiling and posing, it's about having a blast. And, I have yet to meet a dad who doesn't know how to break a house rule or two in the name of family fun. At the risk of minimizing your outfit choice, Dads, the most important thing you can wear to picture day is a good attitude. If you've got a signature hat, belt buckle, or something that you really love - let's find a way to include it.
HIGH RESOLUTION FILES & NO WATERMARKS
All of the photos taken will be delivered in high resolution which can be used for personal use such as printing enlargements and your own albums. Also there will be no ugly watermark slapped on your memories.
ONLINE GALLERY
Presented in the order of time we captured your moments, go through your own online gallery as many times as you want! This can also be easily shared onto social media such as Facebook, Instagram or shared via email to family and friends. However you choose to share, it is available to you. This will be complete and ready to share within 2-3 weeks. You will get a sneak peek the next morning of your wedding.
OPTIONAL ADD ONS
Additional hours coverage: $150 per hour
Additional Family Member: $50 per person
Secondary Shooter: $400
To secure your big day, send over an inquiry to get the ball rolling! Deposit of half of the Grand Total is required and the remainder settled 7 days before your big day. Please Note: If you decide to cancel your shoot for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded. The deposit fee is only good for 6 months.
FAQ
What should we wear?
First things first, keep it casual and keep it comfortable and don’t be afraid to show your personal style. I want the photos to feel natural and reflect who you are. Coordinating colors are great aesthetically but try steer clear of getting too matchy-matchy. Solid colors usually works best and try and avoid busy patterns or big logos. You want your photos to feel timeless.
When is the best time of day to schedule my family portrait session?
We only shoot outdoors or in your home, if you choose, during the best time of day for the prettiest lighting – in the early morning or late afternoon when the sun is not so harsh. Exact times vary depending on the time of the year.
It also depends on your kids, when are they the happiest? Happy kids are definitely the priority over perfect light. I will work to find the best time when your kids are well rested and fed.
Do you travel for sessions?
Yes we are happy to travel to you. A $50 travel fee will apply to locations more than 15 miles from Brooklyn, NY.
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT DURING THE PHOTO SESSION?
If we are doing the photo session at your home, I’ll want to get a tour of the house and will probably go around opening a lot of blinds/curtains to see what the natural light looks like. I will also want to check the backyard and figure out where the best light is. If we are doing photos at an outdoor location, I will have a plan and know the spots I want to shoot. I typically like clients to come hands free, leave your strollers, purses, etc in the car so we can casually walk around and shoot on the go. I like to give my clients variety so that means really exploring the location that we choose. I try and give clients a combination of posed and more candid, fun shots. I will guide you along the way - be prepared to run, jump, kiss, laugh, hug, etc.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
I try and turn images around within a week sometimes a few days. Once I am done editing the photos, I will upload them to your online gallery for you to view and download. You can also purchase prints through the gallery.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE NEED TO RESCHEDULE?
Your deposit is non-refundable. But life happens. People get sick, weather doesn’t cooperate, etc. I’m always open to rescheduling (within 6 months), in which case, your deposit will be applied toward your session and the balance will be due upon the date of your session.
